Hi Sir :
I have been solving this problem since the latest Mail Security version and the newest Monitor 2009 installed !
Our Server can't process with zip,rar and coreldraw files ! if we send out this kind of mails that make us not
send out mails successfully, even external users sending us this kind of mails, they are also unable to do that
to us , would you mind telling me how it will be fixed ok ? is there anyonew encountering the problem ?

I will get detailed as following information:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: test

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

User1 on 2009/8/7 ÏÂÎç 02:08
The e-mail address could not be found. Perhaps the recipient moved to a different e-mail organization, or there was a mistake in the address. Check the address and try again.
<mail.xxx.com#5.1.0>

I had never had this problem before having webmonitor 2009 and mailsecurity installed , if we don't attach¨¦ this kind of files, we won't get back mails ! Just send out directly without any problems

Hi,

This problem seems more related to MailSecurity. WebMonitor does not scan SMTP protocol so it's very unlikely that this application is related to the issue.

The message is the typical error message from SMTP when an email account does not exist in the destination. Are you able to see these emails in the quarantine of MailSecurity by any chance?

Regards.

I tried to disable the information store scanning! I sent a mail to a user , the user got some information as followings:

Please note that a critical failure occurred on the sender's messaging system at the virus scanning stage. The sender should be notified and reference made to this tracking number: src53_failed_00bf0af2-eaaa-43c7-8348-e91279dacbe0 Regards, GFI Content Security.

Please help me to take it away , thanks very much .

marco_lin,

Did you recently update from an older version of WebMonitor? Probably some DLLs are not registered properly anymore. Please follow this KB:

marco_lin,

Please check the debuglog file <C:\Program Files\GFI\ContentSecurity\MailSecurity\DebugLogs\unpack.gfi_log.txt>. Do you find any errors?

Hi,

Most likely in your case the problem is that the COM registration file located under "c:\Program Files\Common Files\GFI\common\strmobj.dll" broke.

Try running "regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Common Files\GFI\common\strmobj.dll" command and restart GFI MailSecurity Scan Engine service.

Hi,

Does it exist anywhere else on your system ? Can you try searching for it ?
