Hello!
I've downloaded the latest build of FAXmaker. The local reseller advised me to try and afterwards to buy!
I've installed it on a separate machine from my Domino server. Regarding the manuals I've done everything step by step as it was said. The good news is that I can recieve faxes, but the best is that I cannot send... I read and I read I read, but couldn't find anything in the forums or the manuals.
110 port is opened, the test during the config wizard looks fine, but...
Can anyone help, please!

hi Patrizia!

I achieved sending faxes from the FAXmaker client, and respectively from the FAXmaker printer, but I can't still send from Lotus Notes.
This is what I found :
- When I send a fax from the FAXmaker client it's routed to the FAXmaker server, converted and send correctly to the recipient. What happens meanwhile on the Lotus Domino server - the fax is routed to the server's mail.box afterwards routed to the faxmaker's mailbox (view Inbox), downloaded from the FAXmaker server (at this time it dissappears from the Inbox and goes to the trash) and sent successfully to the recipient. After the successful transmission in my mailbox I recieve a successful transmission report - this is good! ... but what happens when I send it from Lotus Notes...
- I send a mail to a fax number (12345678@fax), "fax" is the forign domain I've created, this mail
goes from my mailbox to servers mail.box after this it's delivered into the faxmaker's mailbox and it's stuck in the "Sent" view (like a sent mails) ... afterwards nothing happens!
That's all!

Hi Willow and Patrizia,

I have same problem with Willow. I've tried everything with my experience about Lotus Notes. But all sent fax messages goes to "sent items" of faxmaker.nsf of fax foreign domain. But it should have to go to Inbox in order to Faxmaker MTA can receive with POP3 settings while connected to that faxmaker mailbox.

Did you find any solution about this problem? Please help me...

Regards,

Hi again

I found out that I created a new user in Notes instead of adding one...after correcting this , i restarted the faxserver , send a message to number@fax ,noticed that i came in Sent items , but then MTA picked it up from there and started to convert it !! it also comes now in the fax que of faxmaker.. So maybe that's your problem too.

Only problem i now have is that i get an error message that there is no recipient in the message when I send a  message to  xxxxx@FAX

someone any idea ??
