Growing jpg in proc folder (Full Version)

Every couple days a jpg (image001.jgp) appears in the \GFI\MailSecurity\Proc folder which just keeps growing and fast. In a couple minutes it grows to 10gbs. When this happens the server is brought to its knees. I can't delete the file until I end the GFIscan.exe process after which everything runs fine until it happens again.

Any ideas on how to prevent this from happening? I've added a rule in the attachment checking to block files greater than 10mbs but has had no effect to this problem.

What is the version and build of MailSecurity you are using?

Hi,

Version: 8.0.2003.1006
Build: 20031006

I'm very new to GFI and only just recently joined the company I'm working for.

For now I've managed to isolate the origin of the problem on one of our wireless users laptop. Everytime she connects to our network this happens. Going to scan the laptop for viruses, etc.

This issue has been resolved in a later build of MailSecurity 8.
