Problem with Norton EndPoint Protection MR4 ... Norton stops working to install GFI EndPoint Security Vension-4.2 ... What to do to solve the problem ... Uninstall GFI EndPoint-Security 4.2 and Norton works fine me ... the problem is on the client

only happens with this new version as the vercion 4.1 worked perfectly ... I had no problem with Norton EndPoint MR4 ... only update the version 4.2 of Endpoint Security and I started to give this problem ... Norton gets an error window that stops working and the machine goes crazy to the point that hangs ... 5 clients had installed and they all pass the same ... reinstall the Norton thinking that was the problem and not fix me ... Uninstall Endpoint and return to work perfectly again ... Thanks for your quick help .. or else they will have to return to the previous version which I like much of this version are the LOG ...

Dear YanShadowGT,

Thank you for the details regarding the Norton Endpoint Protection. Yesterday we have managed to reproduce and fix an important memory leak issue, it is very likely that this leak interferes with your antivirus software too (since it is in kernel level). We are testing this patch and I can provide you with it as soon as possible (even before the release of a new build) so you can verify on your side whether any problems persist. We will, of course, test this out with the Norton EndPoint Protection in order to ensure compatibility.

I will notify you here once we have the patch and thanks again very much in helping us solve these issues.
