Very simple really.  I have a scheduled backup for 6pm every Friday evening.  I do have the "Reschedule task if missed" ticked but I can assure you the task has run successfully at least twice.  However, every time I open Windows - the task runs! Regardless of the time or day!  Note, it runs successfully.

I have noted an anomaly also, when I review the task in the GFI GUI it says "Next runtime 30/10/2009 18:00:25"  that was a couple of weeks ago when I set it up - how can the next runtime be in the past?

Hello fuzzyfreak
I will need more information to be able to debug this. Please send me your .GTB and .LOG files of the task that is causing this situation. You can find out how to do that here.

Hello fuzzyfreak
I've received your email. Try to go to My Task in GFI Backup - Home Edition and double-click on that task in order to edit it. Then go to Scheduler tab and see if the settings are the way you wanted... Then save the task.
See now at what time it was scheduled for next running time.
