GFI WebMonitor 2009 (Standalone Proxy Version) build 20091030 has been released and is available for download.
This is a version of GFI WebMonitor which does not depend on Microsoft ISA Server being installed.
All the features available in GFI WebMonitor 2009 for ISA Server are available in this standalone proxy version - these are listed briefly below:
- Monitoring of web traffic
- Web filtering policies based on URL categorization
- Download control policies
- IM control
- Virus scanning
- Anti-Phishing
- Protection against Hidden downloads
- Reporting
Supported Platforms and Requirements:
- Microsoft Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2 or XP/Vista/Windows 7, 32-bit and 64-bit versions
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later
- 1 or more network cards
Please note that this standalone proxy version of GFI WebMonitor will not run on Microsoft ISA server. If you have ISA server installed, then you should use GFI WebMonitor for ISA Server, which offers exactly the same features as the standalone version but runs as a plugin to Microsoft ISA server.
