Exactly, you got the point. Change the modified date to a valid date. A short look with Google using something like "change the modified date" (without quotes) will show you some programs that you can use to change that date. However, changing the date back is not 100% guaranteed to work, we encountered some similar cases, and it seems that it gooes a little deeper than just the modified date, in some cases it might work, in other cases it won't work.
