Hi, we wish to quarantine mail and notify users with daily Spam Digest. Has been configured. Looks good. However only the admin gets an email.

Colleague opened support tickets. No solution yet. Recommending action was disabled / re-enable. Still troubleshooting. Got to the point of no clue despite reading every single Spam Digest post on this forum.

Medigest.log contains same pattern every day

We have reports on separate SQL 2005.

Thanks for thoughts

Does your ME server have access to your active directory? Or is your userlist.mdb corrupt or inaccessible?

Hi again.

ME server should indeed have full access to AD. It is a normal member server of the same domain. I don't think there is additional configuration required ..... stand to be corrected on that.

There doesn't seem to be any validation of the email addresses added so not sure if it is integrated with AD in that particular part.

There are two Userlist.mdb files one for MS, one for ME.

The ME one has a last modified date of 29 August 2009, I suspect this may have been during upgrade from version 12.
It is 84kb.
I opened a copy with Access. The one table was empty.

We are using separate SQL store for reporting (if that is relevant).

I looked at http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002577
to check if in SMTP or AD mode.

Not sure the answer but when I go to General Setting > Properties there is no User Manager tab. I have

General
Updates
Inbound Email Domains
Bindings

MS/ME are not on an Exchange server. Another KB mentioned (in passing) defining the Mail attribute for a user. I would expect all Exchange users to have that. We are running fairly plain vanilla Exchange 2003 on AD.

The SQL tables are returning queries ok.

Config.mdb contains a table with the defined users that appear in the GUI.

Note: for testing purposes we have certain accounts named for the recipient list, not the whole AD ... that might work. But we can't develop testing against thousands of users live mailboxes.
