I followed the instrux found here: http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003568

to move all my reporting data from access files to SQL 2008 express.  I'm running into an issue where I have hit the database limit size of 4gb in SQL express when importing data.

Few questions:

How does GFI use the SQL database space?  Does it flush out the oldest data and replace it with new data, or when the database is full, no new data is saved?

Thanks

Hi,

In the reporting feature, MailEssentials do not overwrite the data. You will need to create a new database to avoid the limitation of the 4GB of SQL Express, otherwise MailEssentials won't be able to write any more data into the database.

Regards,
