Hello,

anyone idea how to use NetPrintQueue2Fax on Windows 7 x64 Clients?
The Faxmaker Server runs on 32Bit Win-2003. My old Win-XP Clients can attach to the shared NetPrintQueue2Fax device on the server and it works.
I can also attach to the shared device on my Windows-7 client, but nothing happens when I print to this device.

Maybe is there a special driver for Win-7 necessary?

Please help, we decide to change all our clients to Windows 7 soon and just this NetPrintQueue2Fax seems the only thing that we can't bring to work.

Hi mdages,

In order to be able to use NetPrintQueue2Fax Printer (Shared) on Windows 7 Clients, the following must be done on the Windows 7 Client machine:
- Go to "Control Panel" > "Devices and Printers"
- Right-Click shared NetPrintQueue2Fax Printer > Printer Properties
- Go to "Sharing" tab
- Un-check option "Render print jobs on client computers" (Disable option)
- Apply the settings

In this way you should be able to print jobs through NetPrintQueue2Fax shared printer.
This issue will be addressed in the next GFI FAXmaker release, which currently is in Beta.
