How old are the files in the PROC folder? Are they all recent? Are any of them a week or older?

It is odd they they have the same file size - What are the names of these files? Also, do you use Symantec AV in your network? If so, have you white listed the Symantec Update website from GFI WebMonitor?

Yes I have SEP and its up todate. Out of desperation I changed data retention to 1 day and cache to one hour, restarted the server and all the files cleared and had about 20Gb free space on my C drive. But now about 6 hours later, the files have started rebuilding again and the disk space is now 18GB. the files are in folders with numeric file name and have .txt.bin extension, some are 1kb other 55,824kb while some are 55,667Kb. so the folders are like 9999999 while the file names would be 999999999999999999999.txt.bin Gday

I believe these .txt.bin files were actually AV updates trying to download - Can you whitelist Symantec's Update site and see if this issue goes away?
