Hello,

I GFI technical support recently recommended to me turning off DEP except for Windows services or adding all GFI executables as exceptions. We have been running GFI for years and never had a problem with DEP being turned on. I wanted to find out if anyone here has had any problems with DEP being turned on with the latest build of GFI and running Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003.

Thank you,

Not as yet, but to be honest, I usually turn DEP off because of badly-behaved applications, so might not notice. I wish I didn't have to and that the applications were programmed to comply.

This is the 2nd recommendation I've seen recently... http://forums.gfi.com/fb.aspx?m=900781026
