We were using faxmaker before on an exchange 5.5 machine and thru SMTP. When we were sending faxes from outlook using the ::faxnumber method, it was working.

We upgraded to exchange 2000 and still would like to use the same system above but now the faxmaker does not recognize the fax number saying "no recipient number"

When we use the smtp of our isp server and have faxmaker get fax emails there, sent from outlook, it recognizes the recipient number.

What can we do here. I think it has something to do with the exchange 2000 message format or something.

Anybody care to answer this please.

Please note we are using version 11. I think it has something to do with the TNEF thing but I cannot figure out what else to do after 2 days.

The thing is when we forward the e-mail to fax using the :: one-off addressing method, to our ISP mail server, thru our exchange 2000 mail server, and have faxmaker get it from the ISP mail server, the faxmaker sees the recipient but when it gets it from the internal Exchange 2000 server, it does not recognize any recipient.

Would appreciate an answer.
