hi there, is there a script to use with GFI NSM to automaticaly restart/repair/renew/refresh ip address of a wireless network? im using a hsdpa 3G modem and it keeps on disconnecting after an hour or so, thanks

You can create custom VBS scripts to run as "Vulnerability scans" within GFI Languard. These scripts could be run to check the Network Adapter Status or IP Address of a machine. If the IP address returns 0.0.0.0 or the status as "Disconnected" you could have the script continue to restart the adapter.

This would run as a vulnerability scan, although you could create a custom scan profile that only scanned the machine for this information. As an alternative, you may be looking for a product more like GFI Network Server Monitor which would could keep an active monitor on this every 5 seconds instead of using GFI Languard's Scheduled Scans.
