Problem IN GFI NSM

Hi to all,


We're having problems with our GFI NSM.
I've updated the "check name" on the list of IP's to be monitored.
Ex. IP address to monitor : 192.168.1.1
Description: Imaginet server
However, if the monitoring fails, it sends out the IP address instead of the description.
We're only experiencing this kind of problem on one specific IP, all others are working fine.


The specific check's name is:
SMI-GENSAN Internet Connection-ICMP Ping can ping
Here's the notification I'm getting:
GFI N.S.M. email notification
Date: 05/01/2009
Time: 08:12:43
Check name: 202.78.103.50 - ICMP Ping can ping Target machine: 202.78.103.50
Status: Failed
Explanation: Target machine cannot be reached

I'm not sure I completely understand. Can you post an example of what you would expect to see from our software?
