HWB -> Delete Outgoing Mail without Information (26.Jun.2009 2:14:31 AM)

Hello,

we use Mail Essentials and Security and we want to Block an Outgoing Mail. So we set up a new rule under Mail Security - Content Filtering. Its an Outgoing Mail and in the Subject is "Gelesen:" . The Filter works, but the receiver gets an E-Mail from GFI that this Mail was blocked. We want to Filter this E-Mail and delete and no one gets an information.

Is this possible?

Thank you

HWB,

To disable these notifcations please go to the Actions tab in the Content Filtering Rule properties and uncheck 'Notify local user'

Hello,

thank you for your Answer. But i must say this doesnt work.

User A gets an E-Mail with ReadNotification from Outlook, Outlook sends an E-Mail to the Sender of this E-Mail (User B) that User A read the Mail. I want to Delete this Outgoing Information, yes i know there are Policys and Exchange Configurations, but i want to do this with GFI.

So i set up the Rule in GFI Security. The Rule delete the Outgoing Mail with the given Subject. But now the Receiver gets the following

Parts of this item were removed by GFI MailSecurity for Exchange/SMTP
because they breached the security policy of the sending email server.
Attached please find the reasons why the offending parts were removed.

Betreff: GFI MailSecurity has detected a threat and removed the message.

Parts of this item were removed by GFI MailSecurity for Exchange/SMTP because they breached the security policy of the sending email server.

Subject

Words in subject triggered rule "Lesebestätigung" (Words found: Gelesen:)

But i dont want that anyone gets an information about this outgoing notification, not the sender not the receiver.

Thank you
Best Regards
