Hi Charlie,

you need to add both *.mailshell.net and *.mailshell.com to whitelist in GFI WebMonitor so as to stop SpamRazer updates from failing. Let us know if this helps.

Thanks.

Both are on the whitelist in both releases

I uninstalled SR2, reinstalled SR1 and everything is working again.

I have gone thru all logs on the ISA server and see no problems or events.

My config, Windows 2000 OS, MS ISA 2004, Mailessentials, Mailsecurity, WebMon 2009 all up to date.
No anti virus software
No backup software

I would like to keep working on this with you but I am leaving on vacation
and need to have the system stable B 4 I can go.

Problem:
I have one group of 700 users to which I apply a web categories filter rule. Categories which are blocked for these users is very much. I want to receive notifications if only some categories was blocked.

Is available now:
I can apply to one group only one rule with many categories and adjust the notification. If to make an other rule below with other categories than in the first rule it will not work because the first rule will interrupt filtering process. If a rule have very much categories that notifications will be very much. And the important of this notifications will be very little. My work will consist only in looking notifications.

Desire:
To make possibility to create for one group some rules (at least two) to have possibility to filter the notifications: for a rule with all categories the notification to switch off, for a rule with the selected categories the notifications to switch on. In this case notifications will be a little and all of them will be important.

The decision:
To make two fields: In the first field the list of all categories. In the second field will add the categories which to allow or block. In this case I can to make two rules for one group and in the second field to specify a different categories. The first rule will not work and the second rule will be. In this case I will have possibility to switch on or off the notifications for each rule. It will solve the given desire.

Best regards, Dev

P.S. To receive the notifications when some categories are blocked is very important for me...

Hello!

One more inconvenience of this method: now for each user in the rule created for it is necessary to duplicate completely default rule in which all categories is blocked (for example) and to allow only the necessary categories for the user. If I have a lot of users, the denied  rules will be duplicated many times. The method offered by me eliminates this disadvantage because there is one rule of the denied categories and only a rule for each user of the allowed categories.

Best regards, Dev

Hello!

I have a problem when I try to download a files by Download Managers (ex. Free Download Manager).
On ISA Server the authentication passed successfully but downloads complete with error:

Status: 12210 An Internet Server API (ISAPI) filter has finished handling the request. Contact your system administrator.

When I stop the GFI Web Filter plugin on ISA Server, the download complete successfully.
In Download Control Policy and Web Filtering Policy the user have full access rights.

How can I solve this problem?

Best regards, Dev
