Hi!

I downloaded the new build of GFI MailSecurity - GFI MailSecurity Service Release 9 Build 20090526 from here http://newsletter.gfi.com/t.aspx?S=1&ID=2483&NL=266&N=2982&SI=407572&URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.gfi.com%2fmailsecurityx86%2fdownload

After I upgraded and restarted to the new version, when opening MailSecurity Configuration web page, it says that "Your evaluation period has expired"!!!

How to solve this? My license is valid till Septemeber 2009.

Can You help asap?

Regards,
Peteris

Peteris,

could you try and enter "evaluation" into your license key field then save it and afterwards change it back to your normal license key and save again?

Also, do you get any "your configuration has been locked" messages?

I can't enter license key because MailSecurity Configuration web page is not displayed.

When I click on the Licensing node on the left side, there are no fields displayed, only message:

GFI MailSecurity has encountered an error!
What happened:
An unexpected error occurred in the GFI MailSecurity Configuration.
How will this affect you:
The current page will not load.
What you can do about it:
Try to reload the current page by refreshing the browser window. If the problem persists, try to close the browser, re-open the GFI MailSecurity Configuration and navigate again to the page that caused the problem.
Ensure mailflow is not affected. This can be done by going in the Realtime Monitor and making sure email is being processed in a timely manner.
Ensure all GFI MailSecurity Services are running.
Check for any Events that might have occurred in the Windows Event Viewer for some suggestions that might have caused this problem.
If all the above fails to provide any help, you might want to search the GFI Knowledge Base for possible solutions to the problem http://kbase.gfi.com. Alternatively, you can also post a question with the problem and the error information on our user forums http://forums.gfi.com.
Finally, you may want to contact GFI Technical Support, either via email or by visiting http://support.gfi.com. Please make sure you provide the error information and stack trace found below.
Error Message:

I checked that GFI services are running and emails are being processed in the "Realtime Monitor".

Thanks,
Peteris

Petris,

please reinstall the latest build (20090526) of MailSecurity.

Also, make sure you disable you AV application before reinstalling and create exception as per our kb article (http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003316) after installation is done.

If the problem persists, please fill out a support request form here: http://support.gfi.com/supportrequestform.asp so we can investigate this query further.
