Hy
New install Server 2008 and GFI with reportpack. Imported eventsmgr and reportpack settings. Everything works fine, but with custom reports on ntbackup and batch job description fields contain no useful information as before. With ntbackup there is only "NTBackup - NTBackUp", use to be "backup started.. ; finished...; ended...;warinings..." useful information and the same with batch job descriptions.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I completely understand. Are the NTBackup events being logged in the windows event log?  Also, do you see the events from the "Events Browser" tab from within the GFI EventsManager configuration window?

Events are logged, I can see them in Events Browser, with correct descriptio, but when i make report the description field does contain unuseful information, nothing about events description.

What report are you using within the GFI ReportCenter?

Would you be able to open a support request online with us at:

This way we can best understand what is occurring.

I've tried many different report types but the description is just not there. What's the quick or any way to "customize" ReportPack to include the full description cuz just the "Audit Pass" & "Audit Failur" are not that useful. TIA
