I get the secure download page when browsing some websites. For example if I search journey times on http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ . How can I tell which rule is been triggered? Thanks Chris

Can you copy and paste the text of the Secure Download page that you are seeing? It often depends on the type of page being viewed. Under the Virus Scanning Policies, you should see a section for "Display Download Progress..." these settings often control the display of these pages.

Would you be able to open a support request with us at http://support.gfi.com so we can best assist you with this issue?

Check this setting: WebSecurity Edition Virus Scanning Policies Edit Settings (button to the far right) Virus Scanning tab Unknown Attachment at the very bottom If Unknown Attachment is set to display Display Downloading Progress, it will cause this. For some reason there are files that WebMonitor puts in this category when browsing a web site. We have it set to not display progress and all of those sites became OK. FWIW, Ray

Have you tried restarting the GFI WebMonitor service and/or the Microsoft Firewall service after making these changes?

It appears your case (GFI-090528-2793) is currently being escalated to our Backline support team for review. Thank you for your patience. Once the case is resolved, we can post the resolution here.
