hello,
i'm french and my english is not perfect sorry!!

i have a problem, i don't receive syslog message of linux hosts in GFI EventsManager 8.
i don't succeed to configure linux hosts to send their logs files!

somebody can help me please?????

thanks for the link but i know that.
I changed the file /etc/syslog.conf to send syslog messages to my machine where GFI EventsManager 8 is installed.
But i don't receive syslog messages in EventsManager, however port 514 is open for TCP and UDP.

have you an idea on the origin of problem?

Under Status -> Job Activity - Do you see the SysLog events showing up, but being ignored?
