I've been faithfully paying my maintenance fee for GFI NSM for years, and I don't think I have received much value for that money. My support renewal is coming up in a few weeks. If someone from GFI would care to offer reasons I should stay on board with NSM, I'm listening.

Your maintenance agreement does not only provide you with technical support requests, it also provides you with free updates to our software, as well as patches / bug fixes to issues that have come up.

I'm aware of the promise of updates, but relative to the changes seen in other GFI products I own (LanGuard NSS, MailSecurity, MailEssentials) NSM has seen very little love and attention. I'm paying for new version rights every year, but am concerned that NSM is an abandoned product and will never actually have a new version again.

Again, we have a few weeks left before I have to send the check. I'm going to ask explicitly now: does GFI intend to release NSM8?

We are continuing development on GFI Network Server Monitor. The latest build was released in February of this year. We are continuing to support and design the product to meet current server monitoring needs.
