I don't think that an upgrade will fix your problem.

Could you please open a case with GFI Support and make reference to this thread and they will provide you with a fix. Here is some information on how to contact support.

Here's the answer from the support team : "Software Maintenance Agreement is expired"

I think I'll keep cleaning temp files then because the products works fine otherwise...

Can you provide the name of one of these log files? Also, is there any AntiVirus or backup software that could be scanning the TEMP folder?

Older builds of the software may cause this type of trouble, (Anti-Virus is usually why) but often a simple scheduled task setup to run nightly or weekly can take care of any trouble with these files.
