Hello,

i am running NSM v7 build 20051020

i have several servers being monitored but i am having some strange results

1) some servers are stating after a monitor check that the network cannot be found. i am unable to add any performance checks, i add remote system name but no counters are displayed . i can ping the system and RDP onto it

2) other systems are working correctly and and when i try to connect to the remote system i am asked for my credentials before adding counters. this only works if i use the ip address and not the hostname

All of these systems are grouped in seperate VLANs, but i can use one system normally and i am unable to connect to another system in the same VLAN.

tracert finds all the sytems correctly through ip and hostname - i am stumped

any help would be great, Cheers
