If you require authentication, you can allow Integrated Windows Authentication for your domain users, and allow basic authentication for your guests. Setup an account in active directory called 'InternetGuest' with a simple password. This account can be stripped of most privileges, so it only has internet access rights. Also, if your visitors to the office are mostly using wireless connections, some administrators have tried connecting the wireless access points on the outside of the firewall, so all visitors can connect regardless of network credentials, and only authenticated users can VPN back into the network.
