I have 2 scheduled patch deployments which do not ever finish and cannot seem to be canceled. They have been around for 6 weeks. I have tried the normal cancel button but the job just seems to respawn in a few minutes. I have tried just letting it run but they keep coming up with errors saying Completed with errors.

I have tried the "Purge instructions in an other post"
>>Your method is probably the easiest.  We sometimes edit a specific XML file (toolcfg_patchdeployment.xml) in >>the Data folder which would also have worked. This looked promising but did not do anything .

How do I remove these schedules (or set it back to 0).    It also currently does not seem to accept new scheduled items.  But I thought I would fix 1 item at a time and get rid of the old schedule 1st.

Can you also try the same procedure on toolcfg_MSpatchdeployment.xml?

We seem to be having the same problem with some of our patch deployments as well. Could you explain with greater detail what parts of the .xml file need to be deleted or in what way they need to be modified. We have some deployments that will not go away.

The details of editing this file are somewhat complex, we would be glad to assist your specific environment and make the changes for you if you open a support request online at http://support.gfi.com/Support/support.aspx?lcode=en
