When we try and open the keyword module in GFI ME 12 20080508 we encounter the error "Application popup: mmc.exe - Application Error : The exception unknown software exception (0xc00000fd) occurred in the application at location 0x100ab817" and the GFI mmc closes. -All other modules are working ok, as are all other mmc appz I have tried. -I have updated GFI to 20080623 build but the problem still persists. -Keyword filter is still functioning as normal. Anyone have any suggestions? We really want to avoid losing the entries in this module. Thank you.

Database corruption could be the cause - stop the GFI services and compact/repair config.mdb using Access. Make sure you take a backup though.

Hi, We had exactly the same problem. We have contacted the support about this matter, they have asked for the config.mdb file and have corrected the problem. Regards, Rodrigo

Unfortunately doing the repair in Access didn't fix it, though GFI support were able to reproduce the error their end with the config.mdb file. Stopping the GFI services & then restoring the config.mdb file from last week's backup resolved the problem. Thanks everyone.
