Nicks -> GFI MailArchiver 6 SR3 (build 20090205) (20.Feb.2009 4:57:09 AM)
|
Changes within this release include: - NEW: Added policy settings to centrally configure GFI MailArchiver Outlook Connector through Active Directory Group Policies. The new parameters are Data Path Root, Synchronize Days Span, Messages Batch Size and Connection Timeout (See KBID003490 for further details.)
- FIXED: E-mail resolution now escapes special characters used in LDAP queries. Such characters are forward slash, back slash, parentheses and asterisk. This is done to prevent errors when resolving incorrectly composed email addresses, e.g. when display name is enclosed in parentheses (as opposed to quotes) and contains a comma.
- FIXED: E-mail addresses in Active Directory with extra white spaces are not correctly processed.
- FIXED: E-mails imported from EEwiz are not synchronized correctly.
- FIXED: EEwiz - Support for folder paths with . / \ ?
- FIXED: Folder Synchronization – E-mails addressed to Distribution Lists are not allocated to the proper folder.
- FIXED: If MArc.Store.exe process is restarted while GFI MailArchiver Outlook Connectors are online, the latter will re-synchronize the whole cache.
- FIXED: MA2Export tool - Application crashes as soon as it starts to download compressed emails.
- FIXED: Outlook Connector – When forwarding an e-mail from the GFI MailArchiver Inbox (Outlook Connector) to an external e-mail address, the recipient receives the e-mail without the attachment.
- FIXED: Outlook Connector – When forwarding an e-mail from the GFI MailArchiver Inbox (Outlook Connector) a Non Delivery Report (NDR) is generated by Microsoft Exchange and the message is not received by the recipient. This issue only happens in a Microsoft Exchange 2007 environment.
- FIXED: Outlook Connector - Outlook crash when opening certain attachments on Vista machines.
- FIXED: Outlook Connector – Fixed sort criteria order (A and a are now treated the same).
- FIXED: Outlook Connector – E-mails in Archive Stores marked as 'Do not allow user browsing' can be accessed from Outlook Connector.
- FIXED: The main page of the GFI MailArchiver Web UI would not be loaded correctly in Firefox or Safari web browsers. Note that only Microsoft Internet Explorer is officially supported by GFI MailArchiver.
- FIXED: Using Firebird archive stores, manager access of more than 40 subordinates is not returning all data.
- FIXED: When a mailbox contains an e-mail with a Message ID greater than 255 characters, the User Mailbox Folder Synchronization may halt and as a result, no other mailboxes will be synchronized.
- UPDATE: Added more robustness to the Folder Synchronisation proccess.
