I really HATE all software, including operating systems, that try to manage phone numbers.
First of all, there does not seem to be international rules. Everybody is just messing around, including this FaxMaker. If you don't believe me then tell me why I see phone numbers with ',' in it.
Secondly, I see no need to do so. Just pass along the phone number.
If I want to fax to number +12 3 456 78 90, then just do that. No magic formatting, nothing.
Simple, no?

Rinusripsus,

I would agree with you that software and phone numbers doesn't always mix, but in GFI Faxmaker there are settings to adjust them.  Open your GFI Faxmaker Configuration and expand down Advanced and go to Dialing properties.  In here you can edit the rules for dialing.  Just as a suggestion I usually have to say this aloud as I configure it to make sure I get it right.  When you believe you have the proper setting please click ok and restart your GFI Faxmaker services.  Then send a test while watching the monitor.  In the Queued faxes portion of the monitor you will see what is being sent to the product to dial, but you need to watch the Fax Server portion of the monitor to see exactly what Faxmaker is Dialing. Try this out and let me know how it goes.  Thank you.
