Hi EPS v3/v4 Admins & Users & GFi,
We are experiencing a reboot issue when a Sentinel Hardware USB key is inserted into our HP & Dell servers & workstations running W2K3/W2K8 & WinXP SP2. The reboot is also happening on vanilla config in W2K3/8 & WinXP machines. There is no memory dump b/c it just reboots as if the "reset" switch was pressed. The debug logs show little or nothing or we didn't know how to read them. R we the 1st user to deploy EPS v4 w/ USB software protection devices and having this reboot issue? Sentinel is only one out of half a dozen of different USB keys from different manufactuers. Can't imagine when we plug in those w/ biometric devices! Pls help.

TIA

We have experienced some 'blue screen' issues with older editions of GFI EndPointSecurity 4.  Could you please ensure you are up-to-date on the latest edition of our software (build 20080215?)

If you are already running this build, this may be an issue that needs to be addressed by our technical support department.  In order to best assist you we would need you to open a support case online at http://support.gfi.com/supportrequestform.asp

Using the latest build downloaded from ftp://software.gfi.com.
Have been working w/ your Aussie Team and Kris asked me to send him the memory dump but there is no dump to be sent b/c once inserted - BANG! Those PCs just rebooted. w/o the EPS agent, everything is working fine!

Just a quick update. We've tried the rest of the USB protection devices and all of them except the Safe-Net USB Key work fine w/o any reboots and EPS v4 agent has shown no incompatibily. What can/should we do?
