hi,

we are using Faxmaker for Exchange/SMTP 12 with Exchange 2k3 on a 2k3sp2 Server.

Fax recieving works fine. Fax sending should work fine too but it didn't work.

I try to send via Outlook 2k. The email adress is the faxnumber@faxmaker<dot>com.
I tried to send a fax to my normal phone and i've got a carrier.

But when i try to send a Fax to a Fax Machine i always got :

I dont know what to to - or how to check it.

Reuther,

The error you are getting is Fax deliveries failed:  Call failed:   this can happen for several reason.  Please make sure that when you test you are sending to a Fax machine and not a phone or cell phone.  Also what type of lines do you have?  Are they analog or DID?

i tried to send a fax to myself. we use isdn - and with two lines i should send and recieve at the same time!

Well this can still be a problem if you have your phone system set up to pass DID's down particular lines.  If you are using a hunt group this should be ok.  What type of device are you using to fax with?

hi,

we are using a Diva Server BRI-2M 2.0 PCI ISDN Card from Eicon on a standard DSS1 ISDN Line.

This standard Line has two channels.

This may be an issue that you would want to talk the Technical Support Department as it might require some log files to be looked at.  At this point it is unclear as to weather the issue is a board or software issue.  Please try to reproduce the issue and see if you have any errors in the FaxServer portion of the GFI FAXmaker Monitor.  If you have some please post them, but otherwise due to the complexity of the issue your best bet as to resolve this issue might be talking to a tech.
