Searching for email (Full Version)

Having identified an e-mail I wish to restore, i get the following message.

"Error: Objeect reference not set to an instance of an object"
 
As a result I am unable to open said e-mail or restore. Fault is random, therefore making rectification more difficult.

Can anyone help or suggest anything.

This can happen if the index for the database is not valid.  I'd suggest reindexing the database in question and attempting to search again.

Hi robbo75,

Further to John's post, I suggest that you upgrade to the latest GFI MailArchiver 5 SR1 before you rebuild the index.  In this build we introduced some optimizations for Search and Indexing which you can benefit from.

Guys,

Still have the same error message "Error: Objeect reference not set to an instance of an object" when I try to restore an archived e-mail.

Problem is variable and causing a great deal of frustrations, any other ideas!
