Hello,
I'm trying to deploying the EndPointSecurity agent on to a Windows Vista SP1 client. Everytime I try to deploy the agent I reecive the error Failed to gather required information...(Requested Registry Access is not allowed).
I confirmed that I'm using the Domain\Administrator account when deploying the agent in protection policy. Also, if I login to the EndPointSecurity server using Domain\Administrator I can successfully connect remotely using regedit.
I looked over the logs folder and I noticed its trying to access HKLM\Hardware\Descriptions\System\Central Processor\0... as well as HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current version and then the access is not allowed message is returned.
While in my remote registry connection I am able to successfully access these keys. I have also ensured that the Domain\Administrator has permissions over these specific keys as well.
Windows firewall is disabled, remote registry is running and UAC is disabled. OS is Vista Business x32.
