viservices -> bulk archive - failed emails (12.Apr.2008 7:55:42 AM)

What are the common reasons for emails failing to get extract in the "PST-Exchange email export"? How can i fix these? or where can i find more details (other than the log of failed emails)?
I just did an import and nearly 17k emails failed out of 18k. Only less than thousand emails got processed.

At the bottom of the following page you will find a section on Failed Mails: http://support.gfi.com/manuals/en/mar5/mar5manual.1.52.html#9001822.
When you view the Failed Mails Log File, what is the reason of the failure?

Besides this, do you see any errors or warnings in your Application Event Log related to the export/import?

Hi Jan,

This is what i see in the eewiz.log

"Opening pRecord failed in ProcessMSEXCMail"

The failed mail log does not give any reason for the failure and just lists the emails that failed.

Hello viservices,

Are you running the GFI PST-Exchange Email Export Wizard on your Exchange server or on another machine?
If this is another machine, can you see what your results are when you copy the eewiz folder to the Exchange server and execute eewiz there?
Which version of Exchange do you use?
