Hi there, Can I ask whether there is a way of collecting all W3C logs on a server by using wildcards? what I have is a folder of folders. such as: Logs\ W3SVC1 W3SVC2 W3SVC3 ... W3SVC32 As I understand it, I would have to enter all 32 paths to each log folder within the W3C Logs section in properties (of EventsManger 8), what I would like to do is to add one path such as \Logs\W3SVC*\*.* for instance to allow the scanning of all the IIS logfiles on our server, If this is not currently possible would I be able to request it as an addition to the next version? Best Regards, Bill

I am just trialing Eventsmanager as part of a PCI installation, on the local lan pc's the W3C logs are imported ok, but on the web servers, no such luck, it may be because they are in a different folder to default... who wants GB's of logfiles in windows\system32\logfiles???. This is a major problem as it is the web servers which are the most important... lol. When entering the log file folders, the dialogue box displays the file structure ok, I have used *.* just in case, but the operations status just shows w3c log collection started, and a little while later as ended... no logs were imported. This is I would think quite a major problem for part of a PCI solution ??? Regards Steve 4 days left and counting...

I wanted to post an updated in regards to this issue - It does appear that GFI EventsManager will only search the initial folder that is pointed to in the W3C Collection settings. You will need to add each folder individually, or store all W3C logs in the same folder to acheive the best results.
