Dear all, I had the same problem with the buggy Kaspersky signature. All incoming mails were stored in the Mail security badmail-folder. You can just move these contents to the Exchsrvr\Mailroot\vsi-1\pickup folder and the mails blocked by GFI Mail security will be processed again by Exchange. So no mails will be lost. Regards Stefan

Hello jackson-ri, Did you find any warnings/errors related to QAS.Coordinator/msecmlhost in your Event Viewer? Please also check if Anti Virus and Backup Software has been configured correctly: http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003316. When Anti Virus software tries to access for instance an infected e-mail it could cause MailSecurity to malfunction. I would also advise you to check the DEP settings of the server: http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002404. Whenever MailSecurity can't successfully scan an e-mail it will place the item in the FailedMails folder (<:\Program Files\GFI\ContentSecurity\MailSecurity\FailedMails by default). Can you find the missing items in this location? If you do, you can reprocess them by copying the .txt files from this location to the Exchange Pickup Folder (when installed on Exchange 2000/2003) or the Inetpub\Mailroot\Pickup folder (when not installed on Exchange 2000/2003 but on IIS). The .prop files can safely be deleted after the items have been reprocessed. Please note that his procedure does not apply for MailSecurity installations on Exchange 2007. Hope this helps, Kind regards,
