HP denied there was any changes between firmware revisions so they would not accept there was a problem!

If you are talking about the thread on the HP support forum, I now added details of the TIFFs from before and after the firmware update, so I have clear proof of the change in behaviour.

I was wondering if, for instance, GFI were already in contact with HP or if I need to press the issue (which I would prefer not to have to bother with, but I will if noone else is doing it).

The latest firmware upgrade from HP, version 48.031.3 available for download from their website, has fixed the problem.

Hi to all,
I had the same problem fixed by installing InfanView.
HP Digital Sender 9250c has 48_041_0 firmware version installed.
All works correctly If I send a small number of fax pages (2 or 3).
If I try to send a fax with 7 or 8 pages, GFI sends only the first two pages and I receive a report about success notification.
I have also verify IIS SMTP Virtual Server's settings and Exchange's settings as indicated on KBID002715 GFI article .
Other HP 9200c work correctly and they produce a smaller .TIF file than HP 9250c does.
Do you have any suggestions?

Hi maurizio,
can you confirm that you have Faxmaker 14.1 (Build 20080208) installed? if not, can you carry out the upgrade (from ftp.gfi.com/faxmaker14.exe) and check if the problem persists?

Hi Sven,
thank you for your answer.
At the moment the 20070131 build of 12.0 GFI version is installed and we haven't any problem using HP DS9200c (fax sending function). HP DS9250c, instead, was not be able to send any fax. A workaround has been implemented by installing IrfanView which prints the .TIF file. Now we can't send more than 2 pages per fax, however the first two pages are sent successfully.
I think the problem is about document conversion.
We hope this issue has been fixed in 14.0 version, I've read about document conversion improvement.
Could you confirm full compatibility beetwen GFI 14.0 and HP 9250c?
