Dear Sirs
i have installed GFI Mail Acrhiver 4 , when i tried to login using IE6 it gives me login prompt 3 times i tried with Administrator user and password but failed and the respond window give me this error (Failed to Authenticate Error code : 401 - Details - Authentication using provided credentials failed)

i was using version 3 with full success now i can't even login

Solution pls.

Hello

Make sure to specify login in the domain\user format if MAR is installed on a non-DC server

I am facing the same problem. But I am using mailarchiver5. I tried to login by domainname/username and username@domainname. But problem is same. Kindly provide me hlp on this as soon as possible.

Hello gurdeeps,

Did you also try the domainname\username format?
I would also advise you to make sure the MailArchiver URL is added to your Trusted Sites (or Local Intranet) in Internet Explorer.

If the issue persists, can you let me know the exact error message you are receiving?

Hi,

Now I am getting following error. I am already tried both domainame/username and username@domainname.

Failed to authenticate (Error code: 500).



Details

No authority could be contacted for authentication.

URL already in trusted sites

Jan ask you use domain\username
not domain/username
