A really good tool is the Exchange Best Practices Analyzer tool, which goes through your configuration and suggests changes for common configuration errors and throws warnings for settings that are not recommended or supported (often together with a link to the relevant KB-article).

GFI could adopt this into MailEssentials/MailSecurity for the most common issues and easily reduce the number of support cases dramatically I believe.

Just a small tool that you could run on the server. Or even better, integrate it into the MMC-console and have it automatically check for updates.

There are quite a few pitfalls when configuring GFI. This would be very useful for both customers and GFI I believe.

I agree, I still received a lot of spam after installing ME and didn't find out what the problem was until I saw a mail in the forum about the order of the modules. This solved my problem and I think a small utility could help.
A best practices page in the manual could also help!
