Hi all,

I have a problem with pop-up windows that show scanning process and if a file is blocked for download.
It happens with some sites, with others it works well.

If a file is blocked for download, only a small window pops-up and just few beginning letters are visible. The window is shrank and cannot be stretched. This happens every time.

If a file type is set for scanning/show progress bar, sometimes the window is shrank and option buttons are not visible. When the process finishes, the user cannot proceed with download. It happens with some sites, e.g. http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5

My Web Monitor is 20060515 build, 3.1.424 version, and I sent this case with troubleshooting report and pictures of the disordered windows to the GFI support, but never got a reply from them.

Unfortunately, I cannot upload the pictures of those windows here.

Can anybody help me with this?

Zoran,

Open the GFI WebMonitor Configuration -> Go to the Web Traffic Scanning node -> For each file type you do not want to get the screen displayed, you need to change the action to: AV scan '(Hide Progress from user)'

Hi Patrizia,

So we cannot fix it? I would like to let users see the scan progress and know they are protected.
What should I do with blocked file types? Unblock them?

Another one.

Block MSI download.
Go here http://cmiskp.echr.coe.int/tkp197/portal.asp?sessionId=7807755&skin=hudoc-en&action=request
click on search, put a check mark for Judgments, click on search.
Click on a word doc icon, and you will get Access Denied.
Click on a doc title, it opens.

Can't say I expected this.
