Second hello in this thread [;)]. I wanted to let you know I've got the same problem
installing GFI WebMon3 on my WinServer 2003E R2 with ISA Server 2004Enterprise.

Als I might add that I cannot reach my http://monitor.isa management console. So I
can't use the software in any way, which is a shame because I was really intrested in
the capabilities. I hope someone could tell me how to resolve this problem otherwhise
we are just forced to look for a different solution. [8|]

Regards,

Harie

This error means that Installation process doesn't have rights save new filters to ISA installation.

Please ensure that when installing Webmonitor, you are running under Full Domain Administrator Credentials!

Thank You!

ming -> RE: Failed to save the filter. Error code is 80070005 (18.Aug.2006 2:05:22 AM)

I'm trying to install WebMonitor on W20003 SP1, ISA 2004 SP2 machine that is not domain member, with default Administrator account. The account is member of local administrators group.

I've got a similar result: "Failed to save a filter. Error code is 80070005".

the_kain -> RE: Failed to save the filter. Error code is 80070005 (28.Aug.2006 4:24:36 AM)

Hi to All,

I have the same problem: "Failed to save a filter. Error code is 80070005".
I'm domain admin for 100%. I've even tried to disable all filters before installation - the same result.
Here:
build 20050721
i found Fixed: Issues in installation with failure error 80070005 that means you know what kind of problem it is.

the_kain -> RE: Failed to save the filter. Error code is 80070005 (31.Aug.2006 1:03:48 AM)

I did it and now it works!!!
I've tried a lot of version from 2005.04.05 to the last one (about 10-14 versions).
And found that problem in WebMonPlg.dll
here i found how to register library manually.
i did it with webmonplg.dll
just copy webmonplg.dll into ISA folder
type
regsvr32 webmonplg.dll
and after that install any version from of webmonitor3 and it will work!
If you will have problems with finding webmonplg.dll - just download it from... you just tell me and i'll give you a link
