I have Tr1034+P8-8L cards (2) - You do have the setting on the actual card set correctly, right - I was asked first to check that when I had this problem - I am sure you did but only trying to make sure they got that info to you - Also, call BrookTrout directly if you haven't already - I have received some very good support from them - Amaha Gebru AGebru@brooktrout.com

As far as I know all settings are correct. I plan on contacting Brootrout directly as the next step. Rich

tired_of_this, Have you already sent troubleshooter files over to forums@gfi.com for further investigation of the issue?

After a lengthy process with GFI, conclusion was a faulty card. Replaced the card but still having issues with the card becoming unitialized. This happens with using different software. At this point we will RMA the card. This has been a very fustrating process especially when Brooktrout doesnt provide their own drivers. If anyone has a solution to this problem, please send me an email. At this point, there is no solution through GFI or Brooktrout.

Conclusion to what?? - What was your problem to begin? - It sounds to me like you still have the same problem unless your previous problem was something different - I have had hard time believing these are bad cards, but they very could be - I have been fortunate to not have my lines "uninitialize" themselves in quite some time - Hope all works out for you apanayi

Its not your actual phone lines?? - I know our Telecommunications guy will have lines go to a "off" or "standby" if a line has not been used in a certain amount of time - Maybe you are the Telecommunications guy as well but in setting up our fax server my telephone guy spoke of a setting he had on his side that might cause this - Stretching, I know but just a thought - Good luck!

Well, well, well - The lines "unintialized" I assume over the nite - I came in and my first (3) incoming lines were unintialized - Posting this until 9:00am est when TS is available through GFI - I had the apidebug set and a apidebug.txt file was created that was almost 2Gb's - Hopefully submitting this to GFI, it will help them determine what happened -

Great - Happened again - This is twice already today - Same lines on the Faxserver Monitor - How can I "translate" or "relate" those lines to the physical lines to see which port on which card those lines belong to - I have (2) 8port BT TR1034 cards so the monitor reads (16) lines total and some are "incoming" and some are "outgoing" so unfortunately my volume requires more "incoming" than "outgoing" so they are broken up in (10) and (6) - Hopefully BT or Contata will have a method to determine the actual card these lines are apart if it turns out to be a hardware issue - I spoke to a TS tech and was advised to set verbose logging in the calctrl.cfg file to get a more extensive log at the hardware level - I just wish this was asked of me to do when we first set the apidebug up - It seems to me as if that was a useless task, taking the time to set that up and now it is not good enough information to review or discover problems - Now I am to look at the ecc.log file rather than the apidebug.txt file that gets created - Hopefully it wont happen again but if it does I am hoping the ecc.log file will give me/them a better idea of the problem - Just FYI for those who have reported same problems - Will keep you all updated on the progress or if anyone has any suggestions or resolutions b/c they went through the same, please respond - Thanks

And they cant figure out what triggers them to uninitialize?? - Same time every day or just random? - Does stopping/starting GFI services fix the issue?
