Admins who want to install ISA2004 SP2 with Webmonitor are advised to download WM3 build 20060130 and higher.

Hi,

i would like to ask why ?

if i installed ISA 2004 sp2 , what will happen with WM3 build 01 12 2005 ?
is it going to still do the job ?

can we have explanation please.

Older builds will still function as Antivirus scanners
however some http://monitor.isa GUI parts will not be accessable after installing ISA2004 SP2.

This is due to some major changes in ISA2004 SP2: support for Http1.1 pipelining and accepted event responding sequences from ISA plugins because of new web proxy plugins installed by SP2.

but till this date i am amazed from one thing from GFI.
its been 3 days since ISA 2004 SP2 has been released and till this date , when visiting the main page of GFI WM3 , u dont see any news or alert to download the new version that is compatible with ISA 2004 SP2 .
If iam not a regular visitor to this forum , i would not know that there is a new build for GFI WM3 !!

do i need to uninstall the old build and the install the new build , or i can start installing the need build and it will update/remove the old one.

You can install the latest build of WebMonitor over your current installation.

yep while installing the new build , i had two options , a clear install or update with the current setting .
