Hi Nicks,

I tried what you suggested. Depending on the site i'm getting about 300/400 Kbits which is normal for our dsl feed.

Hi,

And did you do this through WebMonitor? Did you also get the same download speed while webmonitor was scanning the download? Did you get the slow speed from the same machine?

I have the same problem with the actual release of the software.
I am currently testing Webmonitor.

Save to disk is on the Client very slow 400 Kbits, the client is connectet
over 100MBit (copying files vom server to client has normal speed for 100mbit) , i tryed i client without virusscanengine so i get 700Kbits.

when it try the same on the server itself i get the full speed.

the problem is now that the download of the file 700-800kbits is faster than the
transfer from the scanned file from isa to the client.

what kann be done to fix this issue?

-when is the next official release of Webmonitor 3 (Email Notification Virus detected)

we are using ISA2004 + SP1 + Hotfix KB894483, the ISA Server is configured
in single adapter mode and have only proxy functionality

it tryed the same with the beta build 20060307, but no change 400kbits between isa
and client after the file was scanned and i clicked save

what happends exactly when you click "save" ? the file is in this state completly downloaded on the isa server and scanned.

all downloades files are stored in the proc folder, how long stay the files there,
or have the files to be deleted manually?

Hi Andreas,

Do you have any other type of scanning software on the ISA server (like file virus scanning software)?

This may be the cause of the files staying in the proc directory, and also a probable cause for the slow download speed from your ISA server.

if found the reason for the problem!!!!!!!!

ThisISAServerAddress=http://IP
SecondISAServerAddress="http://IP

per default ThisISAServerAddress=http://monitor.isa
and SecondISAServerAddress="http://1.1.1.1

simply modify this two entrys in the downloadingpage.html
an set IP the real IP Adress of the ISA Server,

when you preform now a download from a client and click "save"
you have about 14MByte/s.

may this helps also the further requests.

it is better to only change SecondISAServerAddress="http://1.1.1.1
outherwise you will be not able to manage the system via http

after change the downloadingpage.html

a restart of gfi & ISA Services is nessesary.

the email notification works with the actual release of the software.

now i have solved all problems and can install the software on the
production system
