I have the same problem.
When we send an sms on the cell phone we have i>¿ at the begining of all sms.
Could you please send the patch to me too?

Hi !
Thanks for the patch. I have made few tests I will do some more this afternoon or tomorrow and I let you know.
The problem of the i>¿ at the begining of all sms seems to be resolved but, if
you try to send a message using number@smsmaker.com server will stop working.
On the monitor I can see sms transfer thread that says uploading but nothing appens.
On the out\sms directory I can see all the sms waiting to be sent.
Putting back the previous version templete in not working well
but number@smsmaker.com works fine.
As sms modem we use generic AT modem.

pluigi,
Are you able to send Faxes when the SMS is sitting in the out\sms Folder?
Is you Fax Device Initialised when the SMS is sitting in the out\sms Folder?

Hi Mark,
Hi have made some tests with the patch you sent.
maybe the problem is that my faxmaker version is 12.0 buoild 20051222 ?
Here is the result of the tests I have made:
With the standard version:
Fax are working 100%
sms sent to number@smsmakerd.com (from outlook) are woking 100%
sms send with client or form are not working we always get the i>¿
in front of the message.
With the patch you sent.
if i send sms with client the problem is resolved,
but if then I try to send a message from
outlook the server will die and all the sms remains in the queue and the same thing appens for the faxes.
