Same problem here. BitDefender is taking out every email.

It's shut down for now, but that's not a real solution.

I am having the same problem.

BitDefender started overnight downloading new definitions every hour. Odd.

The last one it downloaded 45 minutes ago has blocked all legitamite emails, stating "BitDefender found corrupt zip file".

I also have disabled it until it is fixed.

The last bitdefender update blocks every mail with the notification "bitdefender found corrupt zip file" wether the mail has an attachment or not. Blocked serveral hunderds of mail messages in just a few minutes, so I also have a lot of angry users over here as well...

I have disabled bitdefender for now. Gfi, please place a message when it is fixed so i can turn bitdefender back on again.

Gr,
Xander

Bitdefender isn't zapping emails, but it is having problems updating local engine files. Perhaps I should consider myself lucky that this update failed to install (email is still passing through no problem). What is the deal with bitdefender? It seems to be the most problematic of the engines. I know I rarely have issue with Kaspersky.

I've shut the Bitdefender engine down now. Something's changed without notifying us!

What's going on?

Thanks

I am having the same issue. I have had to disable the bitdefender engine due to it detecting random email as "corrupt .zip".

Yeah I saw that my bitdefender had updated itself a crazy amount the past two days but things were still working normally. But, now its pulling everything as a corrupt zip. I have disabled the engine for now. Gonna try a reboot when I can.

Yup, I'm having the same problem - Bitdefender is blocking most incoming mail for 'corrupted zip file' reason - have disabled it for now.
GFI - what is happening, can you notify us all what is going on?
Thanks

I was having the same problem. Restarted the server and it seems to have corrected it.
