Hi,
Since we are STILL getting hammered by external companies that have SoBog, is there anyway to stop our users mailboxes from being clogged with emails telling them a virus was detected in an email, etc....?
Some of our users are getting several hundred of these per day!
I have turned off all notifications as far as I can tell...

We have entered keywords in the content checker. Once quarantined we can delete these type of messages.

Yes, we did the same, but the users still receive a notification that their email was quarantined... We want to disable that notification...

With MailSecurity in VS API mode, all mail parts that trigger any of the MailSecurity rules (content checking, attachment checking, virus checking etc.) are automatically removed from the mail, and the rest of the email is delivered to the user without the offending email part.
However, if using MailSecurity in Gateway mode, the whole mail will not be delivered and not just the offending part.

I have also successfully quarantined the SoBig emails by entering the subject keywords for SoBig in the content checker. All you need to do is go to the keyword checker of GFI ME and enter the 9 SoBig subject variants in the subject tab with 'add keyword'. Has been working great.
