Volume Shadow Service Error

Status: offline 		I received a VSS (volume shadow service) error, event ID: 6004 in SBS 2k3. When I looked online it seemed as if this can be solved by changing the database recovery mode from "full" to "simple". Since this was not mentioned in install I want to make sure this is the correct solution. My mailarchive database is about 2gb.

Changing the database recovery mode should not have any effects on MailArchiver.
