If the compressed files are larger then 7mb or too large to be sent by email, please upload them to our ftp site using the following procedure:
FTP Server details:
Host: ftp://ftp.gfisoftware.com User: gfi Pass: gfi911cust (If using Internet Explorer use ftp://gfi:gfi911cust@ftp.gfisoftware.com)
a) Create a new folder on your machine and name it using either your ticket number or company name (e.g. domain.com)
b) Copy support.zip to the new directory.
c) Login to the FTP server.
d) Upload the directory with the troubleshooting files to the ftp server. NOTE: When the upload is finished, you will not be able to see the directory or the files. This is done to safeguard your privacy
e) Send me an email to confirm that the files have been uploaded and the name of the directory.

A patch has been released for GFI Network Server Monitor 6.0 which addresses the following issues: - Timeout issues encountered by Linux checks which make use of SSH - SNMP failed connection & value retrieval issues
To apply the patch, follow the steps listed below:
1. Download the patch from one of the two locations shown below: http://software.gfi.com/support/2005_08_23_01_NSM60_SSH_SNMP_Fixes.zip ftp://ftp.gfi.com/support/2005_08_23_01_NSM60_SSH_SNMP_Fixes.zip
2. Stop the GFI Network Server Monitor 6.0 engine service
3. In the folder <GFI>\<NSM>\, rename the files NSMEngine6.exe and plsnmplib.dll Ex: _NSMEngine6.exe & _plsnmplib.dll
4. In the folder <GFI>\<NSM>\Data\General, rename the file Modulestrings.xml Ex: _modulestrings.xml
5. Extract the content of the zip file to the NSM folder. Make sure that all of the files are extracted, including the file Modulestrings.xml which is found in the Data\General sub folder.
6. Start the GFI Network Server Monitor 6.0 Engine service.
