Hi,
Has anyone else been experiencing BSOD when connecting iPhones or Blackberries?
We get instant BSOD when connecting iPhone, and occasional crashes when connecting Blackberries.
This problem would seem to go hand-in-hand with the reported iPod issues.

I have heard of the issues with iPhones.  The iPhone utilizes similar technology as the iPod in terms of synchronizing its music.  The first step in resolving the issue is to ensure you are utilizing the latest edition of iTunes. Also, does the issue still occur on a machine that does not have iTunes installed?

Next, you'll need to speak with our support department in order to obtain the latest GFI EndPointSecurity agent patch.  This is currently only available to users with a software maintenance agreement, and will be included in the next build of our software.  The patch has a high likelyhood of resolving these issues, however if it does not, we can continue troubleshooting the root cause of the issue.

As far as my testing went I did not have the BSOD if iTunes was not installed. I recently installed a patch provided by GFI which solved a USB Keyboard and mouse problem, and also replaced a dll which fixes a problem of some devices not reporting their activities.
I will do some more testing now that these patches are in place.
